Absolutely random scattering of late season Blue Marlin. This seems to be one of those blue moon situations. I dont know how it got started, but word started spreading around the dock that nice size blue Marlin were popping up in the spread. All fisherman are liars, so no one really paid attention to the rumors. After a few were hooked most boats started dragging one or two extra lines with heavier rigs just in case. Sure enough four days of solid Marlin action, just like October. Fish coming in and tipping the scales up to 850lbs!! Heavy numbers of skipjacks and crazy water temps brought them back and as quick as they came they left. Bit of a head scratch-er, but made for some great fishing!! The rest is typical Cabo winter, 80f weather, striped marlin, dorado, and yellowofin tuna keeping lines tight!!
